Born Under the Law

In this message, we are encouraged by the fact that Jesus, the Son of God, was born under the law for us.

Being under the law, at the very least, includes the idea that we must meet the demand or face the penalty.

Jesus met all the demands of God's law.  

Those who trust in Jesus are freed from the law as law and adopted into God's family.

So let's praise God for the gift of Jesus with our lips and with our lives.

The Mystery of the Incarnation

So let’s earnestly ponder the reality of Jesus, God in the flesh, that we would worship and adore him.

Hope to be Shared

• We also want to make sure we have a good conscience when we give a reason for our hope.
• Let’s grow deeper in the hope we have in Christ and share that hope with others.

• These truths give us great confidence not simply for the future, but also for today.
• So let’s live in a way that demonstrates Christ lives in us and he is our hope of glory.

A Living Hope (1 Peter 1:3-5)

• So let’s live out this living hope we have in Christ.

In Hope of Eternal Life (Titus 1:1-4)

• Even though the full experience of this life is still to come, we who believe already have it.
• So let’s rejoice in the sure and certain hope of eternal life in Christ.

Glorious Hope (Romans 5:1-5)

• Those who trust in Jesus have a glorious hope.
• This hope is grounded in God’s grace to us in Christ.
• Because of Jesus, we who believe have a right standing with God.
• Since we have this standing in Christ, we not only have peace with God, but we also have assurance of God’s ongoing, steadfast love for us.
• God’s love for us in Christ culminates in glory.
• This is why we can rejoice in hope even in suffering.
• So in all our circumstances, let’s rejoice in the sure and certain hope of glory we have in Christ.
