Walking in the Light (1 John 1:5-10)

Join Pastor Stuart for the fourth lesson in our series, Walk This Way, about following Jesus.

This week, we turn to 1 John 1:5-10 to learn about . . . "Walking in the Light".

In this lesson, we learn:

• God calls us to walk in the light.
• Walking in the light entails at least 3 things:
  1. Responding positively to Jesus.
  2. Admitting and confessing sin.
  3. A desire to be transformed by God’s goodness.
• As we walk in the light we will not only have fellowship with God, we will also have fellowship with others in the family of God.
• So by the power of the Spirit, let’s walk in God’s light knowing that every sin exposed by his light is forgiven in Christ.
