Better Ministry, Better Covenant, Better Promises (Heb 8:1-13)

• So let’s keep our attention fixed on Jesus and celebrate him always.

Our Perfect, Forever Priest (Heb 7:1-28)

• Melchizedek is an interesting and mysterious character, but he is not the focus; Jesus is!
• Melchizedek’s priesthood is greater than the Levitical priesthood.
• God intended all along that the Levitical priesthood would be replaced by something better . . . the priesthood of Jesus.
• Because of his sinless life, substitutionary death, and resurrection from the dead, Jesus is able to serve as our perfect priest forever.
• Therefore, we can draw near to God daily through 
  Jesus, the ultimate High Priest.
• So let’s celebrate our perfect, forever priest, Jesus!

Strong Encouragement (Heb 6:11-20)

The Danger of Apostasy (Heb 6:4-12)

• True saving faith perseveres.
• Therefore, we can cling to Jesus. He is our only hope.
• So, let’s be earnest to have the full assurance of our hope by clinging to Christ firm to the end.

  to grow in maturity in Christ.

Our Great High Priest (Heb 4:15-5:10)

• He is the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
• Therefore, because Jesus is our great high priest, we can hold fast to our confession.
• Furthermore, through Jesus, we can draw near to God daily with confidence to receive the mercy and grace we need.
