In this lesson, we learn:
- Jesus can confront and even conquer our unbelief.
- When true belief is present, we cry out to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!”
- When we believe in Christ, even without seeing him, we are promised blessing.
- So, don’t succumb to unbelief, but instead believe all that the Scriptures say about Jesus.

- Contrary to what we may think, we can experience both belief and

Join Pastor Stuart for the sixth lesson in our series, Head Full of Doubt, where we seek to answer the question, "What do we do with doubt?"
Today, we turn to Psalm 22 to find the psalmist . . . "Asking God 'Why?'".
In this lesson, we learn:
- Asking God “Why?” is not necessarily doubt or sin.
- The “why” of suspicion questions God’s character or wisdom.
- The “why” of curiosity desires to learn.
- The “why” of bewildered belief trusts God but admits confusion and ignorance.
- The “why” of anguish expresses our pain and agony to God.
- The type of “why” we ask demonstrates what’s going on in our heart.
- No matter what type of “why” is in our heart, it is good for us to bring our questions to God.
- Working through our questions with God helps lead us from why to worship.
- We can do all this boldly because of Jesus.
- So, whatever “whys” we’re wrestling with, let’s take them to our heavenly Father through Jesus.

Join Pastor Stuart as we wrap up our series, Someone Like You, where we seek to answer the question, "Who does Jesus care about?"
In our last lesson, we turn to the Gospel According to Luke 14:12-24 to hear the Good News of . . . "Responding to God's Invitation".
In this lesson, we learn:
- The invitation of God in Christ necessitates our response.
- We dare not take God’s invitation for granted.
- Responding positively to God’s invitation entails at least two things:
- Trusting Jesus.
- Compelling others to join the kingdom feast.
- So, let’s joyfully accept God’s invitation in Christ and urge others to do the same.

Join Pastor Stuart as we continue in our series, Someone Like You, where we seek to answer the question, "Who does Jesus care about?"
In this lesson, we turn to the Gospel According to Luke 15:1-10 to hear the Good News of . . . "The Seeking and Celebrating God".
In this lesson, we learn:
- The parable of the lost sheep and coin tell us important truths about what God is like.
- God is the diligent seeker of people who are “lost.”
- God celebrates when a sinner repents.
- These two truths sum up the ministry of Jesus.
- They should also sum up the ministry of his church.
- So, let’s all realize the good and gracious character of God the Father, keep coming to Jesus, and grow in reflecting him by the work of the Spirit.
