• Because Jesus has come, we are to be witnesses to the ends of the earth.
  • People need Jesus.
  • Because of sin, our only hope is Jesus.
  • Because our hope is in Jesus, we can point others to the hope in Jesus.
  • Jesus invites us to pray that people will be a part of going and sharing the good news of the Gospel with the world.
• So let us be witnesses of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

• The “Simeon response” to Jesus is joyful contentment and satisfaction.
• Only Jesus can bring us this level of true well-being.
• The Holy Spirit is the one who leads us to experience Jesus this way.
• Therefore, you can pray for the Spirit to bring you joyful  contentment and satisfaction in Christ.
• So, by the work of the Spirit let’s celebrate Jesus as our all in all.

• When we’re tempted to have this response to Jesus, we need to realize his Lordship is best for us.
• Therefore, we ought to learn to recognize and resist the “Herod response” in your own life.
• So, by the power of the Spirit, let’s grow in living in light of the Lordship of Jesus.
