• No matter what we experience in this age, God’s people will be full of joy in the age to come.
• Nothing in this life is as secure as our destiny in Christ.
• Knowing our destiny in Christ can bring us great joy in the present.
• Therefore, we ought to think about the age to come often.
• So, by faith and by the work of the Spirit, let’s rejoice in the destiny Christ has secured for us.

• We can have joy even in difficult, challenging, or painful  circumstances.
• This joy isn’t found in the circumstances themselves.
• Joy during difficulties is found in how we consider the circumstances.
• God is at work even in our most troublesome moments to make us perfect and complete in Christ.
• Even though we may be tempted to doubt these truths, Jesus deepens our faith.
• Therefore, when facing any difficulty of life, remind yourself of how the Spirit is at work in you and in others.
• So, by the work of the Spirit, let’s grow in finding joy even in the midst of troubling times.

• The way of humility brings us great joy.
• By contrast, pride ultimately leads us to unrest, dissatisfaction, and misery.
• Much of the joy of humility is found in thinking more about others than ourselves.
• This is especially true as we humble ourselves to praise and serve God.
• Jesus is not only the great example of humility; he humbled himself for our salvation.
• Therefore, we can ask the Spirit to produce true humility in you.
• So, let’s continue to grow in the joy of Jesus by growing in humility.
